This tutorial is for beginner and experienced modelers. It’s an overview of the fundamental technical issues that affect polygon modelers. It’s not really a how-to, but it is intended to lay a foundation of technical awareness for the modeler with the hope that once appreciated, modelers are free to focus on the art of digital sculpting. This is an overview of a character project I led several years ago.
