| Some of the first character modeling and
texturing I did while working for Glyphx was in helping to create the
Kain character for the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver game by Crystal
Dynamics. I created the head maquette sculpture from the concept art
from which the head model was derived. I also modeled many of the
accessories he wears and created textures for most of Kain's body. I
also creted the model of the Kain's sword, which I also sculpted before
creating digitally. I also animated the characters, textured and lit
quite a few of the scenes, sets and set pieces that appear in the intro
animatic we produced. Start to finish, there were two artists working on
the project. |
